The winemaker and their story

The Ernst Gows & Co Wine Form estate lies at the foot of Simonesberg Mountain in Stellenbosch.

The Gouws family’s winemaking history began in 1691. Ernst travelled to Europe (France and Germany) in 1975 to learn the art of winemaking.

On the estate, the grapes are harvested by hand in the Stellenbosch terroir, known worldwide for producing quality fruit-forward wines.
