The winemaker and their story

The château takes its name from its location on the Cos hill and from François Labory, who owned it until 1845.

Château Cos Labory’s vineyard lies on the Cos ridge, where the traditional Médoc grape varieties are planted: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

The vineyard is divided into three quite distinct plots, with soils made up of gravel, limestone and clay respectively.
